Workshop on Augmented Environments for Computer-Assisted Interventions (AE-CAI 2011)

The workshop on Augmented Environments for Computer Assisted Interventions (AE-CAI) is a satellite event of the well-known conference MICCAI 2011 (Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention). AE-CAI 2011 follows the tradition of the earlier MICCAI workshop AMI-ARCS. In fact this event is place to be if you work on or want to get involved in Medical Augmented Reality.

Topics of the works being presented at AE-CAI include Medical Augmented and Virtual Reality, Display Technology for Medical Imaging and Visualization, Multimodal Data Visualization and Image Fusion, Image-guided Surgical Navigation and Robotics, Surgical Simulation and Training, and Virtual Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.

This year the workshop takes place at The Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Canada on September 22, 2011. So don’t miss it!
