MICCAI 2012 in Nice

In 2012 the MICCAI community meets for 15th time to discuss their recent research in Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Interventions. This year, the conference will take place from 1st to 5th October 2012 in Nice, France. It is organized by Inria (French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics).  Researchers having their homebase at Inria, e.g. Luc Soler, Stéphane Nicolau, or Nicholas Ayache, had always a big impact in the evolution of Medical Augmented Reality. For this reason, we expect a set of submissions showing the “latest and hottest” stuff in our field.

Two of the seven main submission categories being announced on the MICCAI Website fit quite well with many disciplines of Medical Augmented Reality:

  • Computer Assisted Interventional Systems and Robotics
  • Visualisation and Interaction

Safe the date of paper submission in your calendars. This is 1st of March, 2012.

Good luck!
