Educating Anatomy

Just found this video created by ARWorks in 2014. Having the option to explore the complexity of human anatomy like a technical device being held in one’s hand in combination with animating its functionality is a beautiful way of transferring knowledge and support self-studies.

Another example has been created by Credencys Solutions Inc showing interaction with a heard model.

The tablet PC as the interface to the subject of learning placed in an AR world might not be the best solution. Once you will be able to see the object from your natural perspective with AR glasses, this learning experience will reach the desired intensity. Related to this, the teaser demo of Microsoft HoloLense looks very promissing.
